Photography has been a passion most of my life. I find it to be a wonderful combination of art and technology. Prior to starting a full time photography business in 2003, I was an engineer. Photography was always a primary creative outlet and part time business.

In June 2006, I became a Certified Professional Photographer. Like certification for other professionals, this means my creative work and technical knowledge are considered to be above industry standards. Thru continuing education programs I'm constantly learning new things and renewing my creativity. This directly benefits my customers because the constant exposure to new ideas is reflected in my work. Only about 3% of professional photographers are certified.

You will find I have a friendly, relaxed approach to portraits and weddings. My residential studio helps put clients at ease. The goal is to capture what makes you unique, and that is best done when you are comfortable with the photographer and the surroundings.

The creative vision begins with the camera exposure and ends with the digital processing. Therefore there are no Photoshop technicians at my business. To maintain image vision and integrity, all image processing is done by the photographer. As the famous landscape photographer Ansel Adams put it many years ago - the negative is the score, the print is the performance. With the tremendous power that digital processing allows, that statement applies even more today,

Normal business hours are weekdays 10-6. Saturdays are also available but are often filled with weddings so schedule ahead. All photography is by appointment. Be sure to call or email if you have any questions. Thank you for visiting my site!.
